Halifax may have Fog but Kona had VOG

The Vog was caused by the gases coming off the Volcano. Usually they are blown offshore by the tradewinds but unfortunately for us the Kona winds were blowning all the Vog onshore to us. We had our Helicopter tour cancelled bc of rain and poor visability and we could not get into most of the Volcano National Park because of recent eruption had scatter debris in the road and the Sulfer Dioxide levels were 10 times higher than normal beacuse of the new vent that had opened. We have to save something for next time.
